I'm sure some season ticket holders are agonizing over renewing or not. However, when push comes to shove I think most will renew. Anytime in the past when we have heard rumblings of people cancelling their season tickets. The amount that actually did were few and far between. The recent lockout is a good example. Wasn't the number of cancelled accounts less than 100 (maybe even less than 50)?
I think the bigger problem for the Flames is single game ticket buyers. They will be the first fans to quit purchasing tickets. Especially when they can get tickets on the secondary market much cheaper than what the Flames are charging through Ticket Master.
