They are/were all terrible. And Darryl had to change job description to get back to the NHL. Terrible HR decisions all around.
All of these guys but Brent have Stanley Cups on their resumes. That's the furst sign of being terrible.

Calgary has been going for it since the last lockout and have run out of runway.

Under Keenan, he recognized the dynamics and coached the team considering his constraints and made the playoffs, which was the minimum first step to success. His outgoing year the team had too many injuries to key players that were insurmountable, and he got the best results out of the franchise player. He wasn't Iron Mike because that would not fly but figured out how to push the right buttons.

Under Feaster, the Flames went from cap jail to having 24 M in cap space the first year the cap ever goes down, and have 3 first rounders. They have some prospects now and greatly expanded scouting capabilities.

Brent I didn't care for in terms of philosophy.

It is too early to comment on Hartley. The d zone problems are similar to what was seen under Brent, not a product of differences in system. He has had worse pieces to work with in the key defensive roles. The offense is improved, but the roster has glaring holes in key roles and change takes time. He inherited a mentally fragile group. Ideally you want a training camp and a full season. Pretty crazy to declare a guy who has coached a Cup winner the worst coach the franchise has seen.
