Well upon getting my drivers license at 16 my dad went out and bought a 1966 Mercury pick up truck that was pretty beaten up for $750 in 92. Basically told me, if you want to drive a vehichle, you drive that one. It was a beast but for the most part it worked and it was better than a school bus. The next year when my brother turned 16 we went together on a 1980 Mercury Capri with a 4 cylinder. We only bought the car because we liked the stereo. Yeah, teenager logic for you. My brother still claims it was a good idea because he learned a lot of mechanical skills from him and my dad fixing that stupid thing every fricken day.
