played golf with Tanguay last year, and he was telling me how him and the team absolutely hated Brent's system. The team felt that they didn't have the right players to play Brent's system. The whole time, I could only think to myself, well now you guys got your wish... a THIRD time... let's hope it's not the coach again in the upcoming season.
So now, we're not making the playoffs, we're 2 points away from last place in the west. We've had to trade away our captain and one of our best D-men. And we see the leaders that remain sulking.
So with all that being said, I think that Brent is a good coach (given his pedigree and his results prior to Calgary), but the organization has moved on. Hartley is the coach let's see what he can do with the core that's left and the kids coming in.
