- According to Brossoit, ELC negotiations were a long, drawn out process. A bit more difficult because he was a 6th rounder.

- This season in the WHL has been a tale of two seasons. Upset he didn't make the World Jr. Team Canada squad, and used it as motivation to play better down the stretch (2nd half of season).

- Worked a lot with his goalie coach to fill the holes in his game which he struggled with in the first part of this WHL season.

- His goal is to play in the AHL next season, and believes there is an opportunity (space) for him there.

- He has unfinished business in the WHL this year, and is really focused on the WHL playoffs right now.
