I think Hall is pretty decent, but can't help but think that his career would have been better served with less pressure and room to grow into that role.

The whole circus around him taking #4 and being the franchise savior couldn't have helped his game, or at the very least couldn't have been easy on him.

Let the player that represents the Flames emerge, don't force it just to keep ticket sales up.
