I am slightly more open to pursuing B. Burke today than I was a year ago, now following the success that the Toronto Maple Leafs appear to be enjoying. But I'm still not convinced he is a great GM. In my opinion, the current Leafs team is really the only good evidence for his managerial skills, since he was the supplementary figure in constructing both Anaheim's and Vancouver's cup winning/competing teams.

Burke would actually have more to work with in Calgary than he did upon his arrival in Toronto.
