It's like what's up with ppl wanting to trade sentimental values for hope? It's like the Flames basically trade Iggy for nothing. The only real excitement here is that he has a high chance for his first Cup that was stolen from him years ago. And still, some of you are like pissing on him. Then, there's Kipper, who basically stood on his head through all these years and you want him traded to the frickin Leafs and get jerked off again? And some of you are OK with Comeau-ver, GlenX, Tanguay, and Camellari still in the lineup? Cripes sakes!
Kipper and Iggy retiring in a Flames uniform would be an honor, but to trade them for nothing is a disgrace! I really don't understand the value of trading out aging valued veterans for prospects that may amount to nothing. I'd rather keep the veterans that aren't the issues and have them around to teach the young ones coming in.
