Unlike other posters in this thread, I completely understand why some are frustrated with the situation, and I harbour no resentment to those who think Kipper was unfair to the Flames organization. It's been a sensitive past seven days with the way other players have departed the team, and I can applaud fans who value the collective over the individual. I can also see why Kipper was allowed to call his own shots - he owes nothing more to the organization after 10 years of unabashed and exemplary service.
I think we need to realize that a discussion board is allowed to have differences of opinion, regardless of how much you may disagree with others. If we all agreed on everything around here, it would just be one big Flames-centric circle jerk.
