When Kipper signed that contract, everybody knows he will retire before that last season of contract kicks in. I have no idea why people gets so upset at the guy. Besides Dreger is just assuming Kipper will retire after this season. I don't think Kipper ever mention it. The guy gave us some spectacular years here and good for him to retire as a Flame.
