I am softening a bit on what he got in return for Iginla and Bouwmeester. Not as good as what I was hoping, but the 1st round picks can be valuable. Either they bundle them to move up and get better picks, or they can package them with a veteran to get a young gun who is already proving himself in the NHL, or keep them and develop what they pick. No matter how you look at it, they are sitting in a good position to build for the future.
