Huh? Not sure what you were referring to by "presenting a proposal and backing out on it."

You were implying that Feaster will have difficulty making deals with Colorado and Boston. Outside of the offer sheet, I can't think of a reason why Feaster will have trouble making a deal with Sherman. As for Boston, Feaster said "we have a deal" but because Iginla had a NMC, Feaster had to go to Iginla with the deal. That was understood and acknowledged by Chiarelli. There was nothing in Chiarelli's presser that implied that Feaster led him to believe there was a deal and then decided to take Penguins offer because he changed his mind and decided the Pens offer was better. Chiarelli's presser only implied that he thought he had a done deal but the player ultimately wanted to go elsewhere.
