For those of you saying, "I don't mind this, the return wouldn't have been all that great anyway" you obviously don't understand what is happening in Calgary right now.
The team is rebuilding... getting value for any asset not included in the rebuild is the goal. Kipper just stripped this organization of that by threatening to retire immediatley if he is traded.
If that's the game he wants to play, then he should retire immediatley no matter what.
I say he is made to announce it tonight, be given the start at home in the BOA, then get him off the books, bring up Taylor, let him play the majority of the remaining games, to see if he's worth resigning.... what's the worst that can happen? we draft higher.....
