I can understand the ones that don't like what Kipper did. But the ones who completely filped their respect for him I find are really over blowing the magnitude of this. Considering what he did for the franchise, and the honest return the Flames would get if they were to trade him, and it's something that's in the best interest of the Flames to respect Kipper wishes from a PR point. Especially when Flames integrity is in the basement of the league currently.

And every fanbase is the same in thinking it's unique and 'better' than the others.
The amount of ridiculous baiting and laughing at the Oilers fans for cheering high draft picks should make some reflect on that same phenomenon happening here.
