That's the beef I have. What's to say that the NTC was asked for by the Kipper camp and Sutter said fine but we will reduce the term or money. Essentially Kipper could have said to his agent; fine we will take the deal with the early expiring NTC winking that it's still going to be no-trade for him just not in contract. I have a problem with the ethics but at the end of the day we are arguing about a minor return and you can't put a gun to his head.
