Money is always relative. There are lot of people in this world for whom 30k is an unattainable dream in the same way Kipper's salary is to us. At the end of the day, Kipper has the power to side with his family. We don't all have that choice, but if he does and and exercises that, good on him. I would absolutely do the same.
