I didn't like the trade to get Cashner because I thought Rizzo deserved more time with the big club and now the Cubs are seeing some dividends.
They had Cashner in the bullpen originally and tried to stretch him to a Starter. Not against that but he is really only effective for a few innings and then the control goes away. They have him right now as an LRP in the bullpen and I think thats best. He lives on that 101mph fastball though, if he could muster a wicked change-up with control then wow he could be a beast. But I think he mixes between fastball and slider.
