If Calgary gets anything for him at this point...thats a win. Him playing here next season makes zero sense with what the club is shaping up to be, so any asset moving forward is better than nothing.

If Kipper plays well in Toronto for the next three years and the 2nd/3rd round pick turns out like most do (never amounting to anything), I am sure fans will take it well and never look back on a trade that didn't work out for us.
