Great post by TokenKingsFan. He makes a good point about the sanity of the posters here on CP.
I was born in 1958, just late enough to get childhood vaccination for polio, and thank god for that. Over the years I've met several people who were just a few years older than me, who were stricken with polio and sported the withered crippled limbs as a result. I still got nailed with Rubella, Red Measles, Chicken Pox, and Mumps, as the vaccination for those diseases came a little later. I dodged a few bullets, but the ones I wasn't vaccinated against, I got, as did pretty much all of my peers.
The anti vaxers are pretty much a younger crowd, born into a society which was already vaccinated against the very diseases they choose to expose their children to. You know what they say about those who ignore history...
Also, I have elderly family members for whom I care dearly. I don't want them getting infected by unvaccinated offspring of people who choose to be ignorant.
