Even though it's over, they'd absolutely let him attempt it. There have been 23 perfect games in the history of baseball in almost 400,000 games. So it has been done 23 times in about 800,000 attempts. The odds of him being in the same situation again are really small.
The Houston fans were disgusting after Darvish gave up the hit. I'm fine if you don't want to see your team have a perfect game thrown against them, but to give him middle fingers and taunt the Texas fans is garbage. You still lose 7-0.
