The Heat are missing experience BIG time on the blue line. So yeah, he'll be a huge addition.

The Heat's defensive corps right now consists of 4 rookies (MacKenzie, Seigo, Lamb, Matczak), Breen and Cundari are both third year pros, and Carson and Callahan are both AHL vets.

Very very young back end right now. This isn't necessarily a bad thing either. While they've been getting walked over for the last month, it's been great for their development. MacKenzie and Seigo are definitely a couple of guys to keep your eye on next season. While I haven't got a chance to watch Seigo yet, I've heard very good things about him. Could be an impactful pick up for the Flames.
