Berra is not exactly a top prospect. He may be a top goalie in the Swiss league but he has never played in North America and at his age, if he doesn't make it here within the next year or two then he pretty much never will.
Cundari is not a NHL d-man at the time of the trade.
Maybe you are easily satisfied and think Berra and Cundari are considered top prospect and NHL-ready, but many people sure don't think so.
