I've been hard on Feaster since he was hired as GM, but I'm going to give him credit here. After hearing about the conditional 1st round pick from Boston, I was worried that the focus wasn't on obtaining the best draft pick. But I'm happy with the return here.
Now it comes down to what Feaster does with those picks. Can he/will he/should he package the two later picks to move up in the draft? A team can rebuild quickly in a deep draft if they come away guys similar to the quality of Tanguay, Skoula, and Regehr with the first three picks instead of Gagner, Plante, Nash.

I think in comparison to the average guy, he's a very smart guy. However compared to other NHL GMs, he's at the bottom of the barrel.
