I think that has some merit...the Iginla trade, fine. The Bouwmeester trade I figure we'd get what we got, except instead of one of the two prospects, we'd get a guy with a legitimate shot to play next year...and that the 1st would be guaranteed.
Stan Bowman said today that there aren't the many sellers....so ok Feaster, here you go...you got the two (call it three, Kiprusoff is all but done too) "difficult" contracts out from under you...everything else should go smooth right?
Tanguay, Cammalleri, Glencross, Sarich, Stempniak, Jackman, Comeau etc, at least 3 need to go now, if not more, in this "buyers" market, with no-one else in that list really at a large cap hit that should dissuade anyone, and those players as decent NHL talent, SHOULD COMMAND A PREMIUM, to teams looking to make a push to make the playoffs or to bolster themselves for playoff depth, and to their relative worth, based on Feaster's own logic.
Let's see how he does with the return in the next 40 hours now that his spin spin spin excuses are starting to dwindle in this buyers market. I am not holding my breath.
