Is it really better to keep the first? Drafting somebody who might eventually reach the development path of a Schwartz/Rattie instead of... Well getting a Schwartz/Rattie in the first place?
I would have been a lot happier with either of those prospects + a 3rd and us keeping a bit of salary, compared to what we got instead. Marginally better yes, but quality should be a priority.
Oh well, on to the next Flames trade.
