No, it simply isn't. This whole premis is rediculous. Iggy did Calgary a fact because he went to play with Sid and Malkin to try and win a cup this year versus sticking it out and playing on the Flames? Failing to see how that works.
Also, failing to see how he screwed us either. He had the NMC, and he used it. That's not screwing us either.
All in all, seems like a business deal went down the way it should. But nobody was taken a little less than the situation offered up, and pretending Iggy F'd us or that he did us a favour is silly.
