As I have pontificated many times, the structure with Flames management is more broken then just Feaster, who's IMO a pawn and hired to be as such IMO, but a necessary pawn to at least do the deals we're seeing now.
Once these deals are done...we'll see. The PC on Wed will be interesting...and at some point with such an organizational clearing of the house, KK or een the owners need to address the fan base.

O'Reilly fiasco cleary falls on his shoulders, but a number of moves look like they came from above. Although most everybody was happy about Camelleri coming back, but that was exactly the kind of deal that Sutter would've made. He really should be a trade candidate now, too.
Even with Iginla, there were probably the "he puts fannies in the seats, sells jerseys and is the Face of the Franchise" lecture to prevent any "premature" thoughts of moving him sooner than has happened. Year in, year out, they wanted to keep giving the illusion that the team was competing for a playoff spot.
That party line came from higher up.
