My thoughts(Nobody Cares):
1. 1st round pick is always a good thing to have.
2. don't know anything about the prospects included in this trade, but from what I've been reading, seems like there is some upside with both.
3. Feaster has been pretty clear about his intention on filling the gap the flames have in their organization with players in the 22-26 year old range. Both the Iginla and this trade seem to do that with the players that were involved along with the picks.
4. The only way to tell if Feaster is on the right track is to give these two deals a little time. If two of the 4 prospects included in the two deals are playing well for the flames in the next couple of years, Feaster will look like a genius. That's not even including the two firsts we will use to add prospects to the organization.
