My sense is, once again, the owners were heavily involved.
They are definitely bracing against a drop in revenues as a result of the ongoing firesale. As a result, I'm guessing we'll be a bottom 10 team in terms of payroll next year.
So like somebody mentioned, it's possible we could've retained 2-3m of JayBo's salary for next year, but that's 2-3m of ownership's money they don't have to invest in what very well could be a lottery team next year.
