Cammy is 30 yrs old, has scored 11G in 30 games (30 goal pace in 82 game season), and he has 1 year left at $6.0M. He, like Iggy, has NTC. It seems like there is very low expectation that a playoff team would offer much for him. Why? Is it because his high cap hit scares teams away next year? Is it because the cap is going down next year?

A lot of the "talking heads" lament that Iggy's value would have been exponentially more had he been moved 1 year ago. I am not so sure. $7.0M cap hit is a lot to fit into the budget of a contending team with other quality players to retain.

So what is Cammy's trade value at this year's deadline? How would that value compare to next year's deadline?
