I think no matter when they trade Kipper it will be selling low. The flames have lost their top line winger for picks and prospects and will probably lose their top d man to picks and prospects. Next year the flames will be as bad if not worse. Kipper's value is not going to be getting any higher. They needed to trade him last summer or before that.
At best Kipper gets a 2nd. That's fine with me. I have a feeling the second he touches down in Finland for the summer, if he is not on a team that can compete he calls it a career.
