Took a drive through Quarry Park the other day - came back and was doing some searching on it and came across this thread.

Looks like they've started the buildings. Housing looks slow to get going though. SFH's, thought there would be more done by now. The apartment or condo buildings look to be moving along. Other than that just a big retail strip with what I'd expect to be the most quiet Coop in Calgary.

Has Riverbend had the expected improvement like a few people thought? Or Douglessglen? We're 12-18 months from first occupancy and 3+ years until the move is complete. Some nice areas west of 18th street. Housing prices seem pretty good given it's a 20 minute drive to DT close to some major arterial roads and the river paths and Carburn park.

Anyone live in the area find traffic worse? Actually that's a dumb question since nothing has changed since the thread started. Any more feedback from employees that will be quitting or moving (unfortunate NW'rs).

The 24th street heading north is a bit of a mess. Never had been along that road and found the connection to Ogden Road or Shepard Road awful.

Just figured the thread was good for a bump.
