Well, we can agree to disagree then. I thought both those trades were indicative of Holmgren note being able to sit still. Tons of rumors revolving around Richards and Carter which necessitated the trade. They were so disruptive that they went to LA and won a Cup and look to be a strong contender again this year. Holmgren's team sits near the bottom of the eastern conference.
I will agree with you to the extent that the Richards/Carter deals rated the least moronic compared with the Brygalov and Pronger deals. People jump all over Feaster for the ROR issue, yet Holmgren went full ###### when he signed Pronger.
His early moves/signings/trades were very good. Holmgren for the past 2-ish years has been Sutter circa January/February 2010.
That's what scares me is that he's still employed and judging by his past couple years a Courtuier for Clowe deal is right up his alley.
