Mixed emotions.

I think my favorite part might be how Carl is losing his humanity. It makes sense, spending his formative years doing what he's had to do.

I do agree with the people that said, the killing of the kid may have been justified though, it seemed like he was kinda suspicious, might make anyone pull the trigger.

Someone tells you to put down the gun you just drop it, you don't edge closer to them and you don't try to hand it to them.

On one hand you could say the kid was just scared, which is probably true, he probably just wanted to obey as best he could. But then you'd have every right to say that Carl was scared too, because the of the way the kid was approaching him.

So, I do think it was justified. Course, that's not the way they're playing it, so we'll see what happens.

Kinda funny Hershel doesn't jump in and diffuse the situation before it goes to far. Put down the gun kid! Now! Don't get any closer!

But of course he couldn't because they needed Carl to do what he did. But in retrospect it kinda makes Hershel seem like a dick that he was the adult in the situation, coulda did more to try and prevent things from flaring up, and then he comes back and blames Carl for what he did.

I'm sure that's not what the writers intended, but the scene kinda played differently then they intended I think.

Also wonder about leaving Woodbury for the prison. I guess there are pros and cons both ways.

Also agree that the governor losing his poop and shooting everyone felt rushed and like it didn't quite belong. But meh, finally happy they are moving on. The Woodbury thing has so much potential and it just didn't deliver.

Andrea, what can I say. If she hadn't been blabbing so much to Milton when he was sying maybe she coulda saved herself. Oh well... Even, with me not liking the character I'm shouting at the screen 'You can have you special moment AND try and grab the pliers at the same time!' Heh. Well, in my head I was.

Course she had to die, and the writers made it so by making Milton a quick turn. There could be a hundred reasons why she would live, but things gotta piece together so she dies. Had a feeling they might.

I can't believe the writers made the 'safety' joke in her dying speech. Lame. Well, thankfully it's over now.

So where do we go from here? What happens next year? Does the governor return with his two henchmen? I have a feeling we see him eventually, though not soon. To the series I mean, not necessarily the prison.

Also a bit of a writer fake out/cheat. They easily could have written in that the surviving woman told Rick and the others that she saw (or heard) the Guv drive away and he wasn't dead yet. (If that's in fact what happened which I'm sure it did) I'm sure she would have in real life if it happened. Especially if she just saw him do what he did. It would be one of the firsts things she did when they found her. The Guv is still alive! He got away! But that can't reveal that to us cause they want the suspense.

Meh, like I said. Mixed feelings. Rambo Glenn and Maggie was cool.
