Gotta say that the Brett Hull trade was probably the worst. The Phaneuf trade wasn't close to this, IMO. Stajan is probably the only reason this team isn't 30th by a long shot, hands down our best forward this season and has shown his capabilities more and more every game. Phaneuf has been pretty bad for the Leafs thus far and Stajan has become one of this teams most important players, and that's a sad reality.
My post was driven with newfound anger however, It's definitely one of the worst trades. This is a trade that should have brought back a return of players that we know the face and the name of, top prospects are what we needed, not two college players that may or may not be small scoring threats in the future. They might, at best, be a couple of David Mosses or Lee Stempniaks, which isn't bad, but we need more than that.
