Is Jaybo really considered a rental though? Beyond the extra year on his contract, there's a very good chance he'l re-sign with the team we trade him too. Reason I say that is obviously with his NTC, he can choose his destination, so there is going to be a preference on both ends to make the deal.
I will be a very disappointed man if the deadline passes and Bouwmeester is still on this roster. His value it at its peak right now, and will be much lower in the off-season if he regresses and when the cap is lowered next season. We lost value in trading Iginla after waiting too long, please don't let that happen again!
