Bouw might not be THE GUY so trading him would be fine. I'm not dead set against it. I'm just thinking we need to hold on to something. And I'd rather hold on to Bouw than Gio. That's just my preference. You all say we can get more for Bouw, I'm not so sure. Feaster will get fleeced again. If Bouw gets the same return as Iginla, then what's the point? It would be better to keep him.

I don't like the 'we're going to lose anyways so who cares who's playing 30 minutes' argument. Even when we're losing and rebuilding we need to have some stability and learning.

Someone has to play those minutes. Who do you want as the Flames #1 D going forward? Bouw or Gio? If you prefer to have players learn with Gio rather than Bouw than that's fine, I can't argue that.
