He has the worst stats out of every single starting goalie in the entire league. The "he's not getting much help" doesn't fly, because the Columbus/Islanders/etc other team's goalies have save %'s above 900. Kipper has been terrible.
The only team who would want a rental goalie is a playoff team. And every single playoff team has a better goalie than Kipper, expect for maybe Toronto. That is the only team in the NHL who might give up an asset for Kipper. And with Luongo/Miller on the market, why would they want the worst starter in the NHL, who may not even play leaving them stuck with his cap?
Kipper would very easily clear waivers. Nobody would take him.
