Kipper is a proven playoff performer and doesn't break under pressure like Luongo, Fleury or Bryzgalov to name a few. He's worth the 2nd if not more to a playoff bound team.
I'm just thankful the guy didn't demand a trade years ago, the team in front of him is a farce.

I love Kipper, but he has been bad this year. He hasn't even been an average NHL starter this year, let alone the game stealing Kipper of old. He might rebound next year, but he is so far from the player he was last year I'm not sure it's possible. I can't imagine what playoff bound team would want him. If the Leafs will give us a second, I say take it.
