Well in my view of King moving up he would still handle the new building deal, could handle the radio and TV deals and any major sponsorship issues.
The new president could oversea the GM and the day to day running of things but would expect that Cyr can handle the ticket stuff, Hanlon the PR needs and someone else the building/game day experience without a 25 year business holding their hands. Like my example of Nicholson I think he could handle overseeing the business stuff just fine given his background.
My example also was meant to have a President different from GM.
If need be bring in a Roy Mlakar type to be the COO and oversea the business stuff.
