He didn't need to get better since joining Buffalo, he was actually playing pretty well for the Flames and definitely a lot better than Butler ever has played for the Flames.

So you watched a couple Buffalo games and you've got all you need to say Butler is playing better than Regehr. Alright, got you. I don't watch Buffalo play much either, but if Regehr is in fact worse than Butler then he must be having one of the worst seasons in his career.

We must be remembering a different Regehr because the one I remember was pretty bad in his last few years with the Flames.
I never said Butler was perfect, or didn't made mistakes, all I said was I think that Butler has been the better of the 2 players since the trade. Nothing earth shattering or ground breaking. I guess we will have to agree to disagree.
