How is he better than Regehr? Please tell me how. Regehr plays 18:37 a game and is -3 while Butler has been a healthy scratch multiple times and plays 15:38 a game and is -6.
They both play for terrible teams and unless you watch Buffalo play every game I'm not sure how you can say Butler is playing better. Butler is downright awful, I find it hard to believe Regehr would be playing worse. It would take an amazing level of suck to be out sucking Butler. If it wasn't for Babchuk I think he'd be our worst defensemen.
That trade was pretty awful. We gave up a 2nd round pick as well, can't get much worse than that, but wait we also got Ales Kotalik so I guess it did get worse.
