Schultz was different because he forgo his first year of college hockey after the draft to play Junior A, then went to college. This created a loophole where Anaheim only had negotiation rights until June 24th. Different situation.

Yeah but my point was that they can still choose not to sign here. You're just arguing over semantics, August 15th versus June 24th- who cares? If they don't want to play here, they aren't going to sign. A ~60 day delay won't change anything.
