If these are Weisbrods guys perhaps he's not the guy. Then again when there is a window of 4 teams to bargain with it isn't surprising on the return. Maybe teams will be less willing to hand out no trade clauses like candy. Oh wait there are about 20 gms that still will

Well, they were drafted so obviously others think they have NHL potential.
I don't think these are Weisbrod's guys as much as they are simply the best Pittsburgh would do. The list wasn't 4 teams at this point. It was one team - Pittsburgh. Iginla took Boston out of it and it doesn't sound like either LA or Chicago made an offer. It's not like the Flames said that Agostino and Hanowski were the parts they wanted over guys like Maatta, Bennett, Pouliot, Depres, etc... This is what the Pens offerred to a GM with nowhere else to go.
Quite frankly, Shero is a real humanitarian for not even pulling the 1st off the table or making it conditional on winning the Cup. Shero is smart enough to know that it isn't always good business to totally screw people and kick them when they're down. A more respected GM than Feaster might have garnered more goodwill though.
