Different times. In this day and age fans know way more about prospects and other teams players from the internet. Probably could make a case for some of the fanatic CP'er that they are like minni scouts with the ability to watch all games and retrieve info.
Back then the only thing i knew about prospects was what was written in the Calgary newspaper.
