Seriously this is the happiest day for me. I've stopped posting in F&I because of how emotional people got over the team rather than thinking rationally.
For 3 years I've asked for Iggy to be traded because of how garbage this team was and that we needed to rebuild. For 3 years I'd get infracted or trolled because this team was apparently good enough to win the cup.
The main problem is that this trade happened 2-3 years too late. The pieces we got back are not enough to re-tool. This will be an absolutely painful rebuild, one much much worse than normal. But I'm really really glad that we're finally on that path.
Maybe with Iggy gone we can finally have rational logical discussions on this forum again.
