As the Seinfeld episode goes for King and Edwards and Feaster, regarding the last couple years..."if every decision you've ever made has been wrong, doing the opposite must be correct".
Don't get me wrong, I don't resent Iginla for choosing Pittsburgh, I would too, and maybe he does deserve to be a little selfish after all these years. But if he gave his consent to be traded to either Bos or Pitt, team should be able to take the best available offer.

But I don't blame Iginla, I blame that moron that is the GM. If the rumours are true (and they seem plausiable), we could have gotten Morrow + 1st. I think everyone here thought that would be a fair offer. (IIRC correctly, it was Maata + 1st + TK)
What the hell was Feaster thinking? That Boston would give up Hamilton maybe?! For the life of me, I can't understand why he waited. It was obvious that that was the best offer we could get for a 35 year old rental...

So now, instead a a young, potential 4 d-man, we got 2 prospects whose upsides at most are 3rd liners...

Imagine how much Feaster's gonna get bent over with Bouwmeester, Glencross....
