Would be interesting to see what he signs for in the offseason, and how "unreasonable" that would end up being on the Flames payroll...not for Joe Schlub, but for their franchise player. The market may well pay him well, but may also pay him an amount that the Flames could easily afford and justify, even with a rebuild, for a face of the city and franchise.

Especially if Feaster continues to offload more of the bigger names on this team for picks and prospects... JBo, Cammy, Glencross, etc... the result could be cap space that would make it possible to bring back Iggy on a short-term deal. In other words, throwing the fans a bone while the team rebuilds. Of course, it would seem obvious that Iggy would not consider returning unless he has a SC ring already around his finger.
