Captin's post from earlier is starting to ring true from the info we are being given (extreme grain of salt considering what happened earlier). Iggy made the decision and it was the decision that was far better for him than it was for the franchise. Selfish but who can blame him? This organization has been a train wreck for so long and he has stuck it out, never asking for a trade, always doing what was best for the team. Honestly as much as I want to be a little upset that he potentially cost us a better deal, he's earned it and I'm proud of him for going for the cup. Nobody can deny that Iggy should lift the cup. He's given us everything and on the other hand I'm happy to see him worry about Iggy for once.
Ugh this whole situation makes me sick to my stomach. I'm starting to think we got royally fleeced but it will be one of those situations we won't really know how well or poorly we made out for many years to come.
Not enough vodka in the city to drink away what happened tonight.
