They've spent time on the same line several times before and the chemistry was immediately evident. They have both stated in several interviews at the time they enjoy playing with each other.

It didn't work that well in 2010 and it wasn't because of a few periods of no scoring.
Sure they like playing with each other and likely would do well together but we haven't seen it yet. That is likely to the small sample size but doesn't change the fact and really isn't that big a deal.
